What is Souful Samba©?

Souful Samba was designed by me (Salene Souza) to help support women to have a better understanding of who they are, and how their self-talk and attitudes affect both self-esteem and confidence on a daily basis. It provides a safe space to explore ones internal resources through Latin dance and music.

By experiencing Latin movements, individuals allow their body to break through emotional and physical repression or blockages. In addition to that, new attitudes and new ways of connection to themselves and others are learnt. Consequently, it helps to develop a more flexible approach to life and its challenges.

💛What is the goal of Souful Samba©?

The main goal of Souful Samba© is to BUILD UP SELF-ESTEEM AND CELEBRATE LIFE, by giving women the opportunity to reconnect with the joy of living.

💛How are the sessions?

Souful Samba© is not only a dance class. It is beyond Latin dance movements, each session includes activities such as mindfulness and relaxation exercises, visualizing and grounding exercises.

Each session is planned to work on different parts of the body in order to practice the 5 “Bs”: Breath, Bounce, Balance, Boundary and Bliss. It is divided into three sections: warm-up, samba practice and relaxation.

*The live session will be on the 19th November, Friday, 7 pm to 9 pm (Eastern NY/USA).
It will also be recorded in case you cannot attend it. It will be sent to you in 48 hours, and you will have access to it for 2 weeks.
